The Einhell CC-BC 15 M Battery Charger is an intelligent battery-charger device adapted to the technically highly developed, high-performance batteries found in modern vehicles. The trickle charge function protects and conserves the battery for a continuously optimum charge level. This makes the CC-BC 15 M suitable for all types of vehicle, particularly seasonal vehicles with long laidup times. Instead of allowing the battery to slowly discharge fully and risking an exhaustive discharge as a result, the battery is kept topped up to its optimum level using trickle charging. The trickle charge relieves the battery cells and extends working life, preventing avoidable, cost-intensive replacement of a defective vehicle battery. Cars, motorbikes and scooters are immediately ready for use at the start of the season. A winter charging mode has been specially developed for outside temperatures below 5° Celsius. The Einhell Battery Charger can provide battery assist using jump-start mode, delivering 100 A starting current (max. 5 seconds) After briefly charging the capacitor, the charger can produce a jump-start to bring the vehicle engine to life instantly - similar to a jump-start using a second vehicle. The Einhell Battery Charger is equipped with automatic over-charge, short circuit and reverse polarity protection. These protection mechanisms not only protect the charger, but also the battery.
